Donate Items of Need
COVID-19 Update: We value you as a friend of our ministry and we appreciate how you care for our neighbors in need. While we have suspended all volunteer and tour activities at MRM as a precautionary decision and out of concern for you and our guests, we are still accepting donations. (We understand and appreciate your eagerness to help, but we do encourage you to consider your own health before making an in-person donation.) Please note: in an effort to avoid unknown handling of food items, we are not accepting donations of sandwiches, baked goods (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc.) or other food that is prepared in homes and not in a licensed kitchen at this point. However, we ARE accepting donations of food coming straight from restaurants/companies, as well as nonperishables and sealed items — loaves of bread, sealed PB&J, canned goods, etc. As a mission serving hundreds of vulnerable neighbors every day, we have always practiced high standards of safety and sanitary procedures. At this time, however, we are enforcing strict and rigorous social distancing and cleaning procedures to protect all who come here to find or provide help, as well as play a role in reducing the spread of coronavirus in our community. As a result, our cleaning and safety supplies may be stretched thin. If you would like to make a donation to help MRM and our guests in light of COVID-19, please consider sharing surplus cleaning and safety supplies with us. We welcome donations of soap, disposable gloves, disinfectants, face masks, bleach and hand sanitizer so that we can do all we can to reduce the spread of this virus. We also welcome donations for our emergency food baskets and hygiene kits to be distributed to families in need in our area. here. All of us here at the Mission will be continuing to do all we can to keep our community healthy. We appreciate any help you can provide, and we appreciate your prayers during this challenging time. Thank you for your support!
Often, when our neighbors who are hungry and homeless arrive at our door, all they own are the clothes they’re wearing. Thanks to donations from friends like you, we’re usually able to meet their physical needs right on the spot. But our shelves aren’t always full, and we are often in need of items in the lists below.
DONATION DROP-OFF LOCATIONS
Non-monetary donations are accepted at our Main Campus Donation Center (Kilbourn Avenue and 18th Street) Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Upon entering the parking lot off of Kilbourn Ave., veer left, drive down the ramp and make a left turn at the end of the ramp. There you will find a door on your right to the Donation Center, where staff can assist you with your donation and provide a receipt.
There is also a drop-off bin to receive clothing donations at the True Value Hardware located at 8010 N. 76th Street.
**Please note: Seasonal non-monetary donations (new toys, banquet items, etc.) are still accepted at our Main Campus Visitors' lobby, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Some items are distributed more quickly than others, depending on supply levels, weather and numbers of guests. As a result, there is a more desperate need of certain items than others. Can you help? Click HERE to view of list of our most urgently needed items.
