Often, when hungry and homeless people arrive at our door, all they own are the clothes they’re wearing. Thanks to our generous friends, we’re able to help these men and women with children rebuild their lives by providing for their needs through several programs. Donations are accepted at our Kilbourn Ave. entrance Mondays through Saturdays from 8am to 8pm.
After living on the street or being forced from their homes, desperate men, women and children arrive at our door with little or nothing. Many donated items can support their first steps back to stable lives. They include things like:
- Baby care items
- Health products
- Personal care items
- Paper products
- Home cleaning products
- Kitchen tools and supplies
- Fruit, lunch snacks
- Home electronics
- Clocks and watches
- Store gift cards
While we'll gratefully accept donations of these items, we can also purchase items at deep discounts due to our status as a charitable organization. So if you wish to help with a donation, we can fill many needs with direct cash donations.
We are in urgent need of the following items! We greatly appreciate your consideration to serve by giving one or more of the items listed below.
- Fall and Winter coats for men, women and children (all sizes)
- Hats, scarves and gloves (all sizes - especially men's scarves)
- Cold and cough medicine/cough drops
- Boy and girl size tops and bottoms size 3T, 4T, 5T, 6, 7, 8
- Boy and girl underwear size 2, 3, 4
- Toddlers socks
- Cereal bars
- Midol
- Orajel
