Donate Items of Need
Often, when our neighbors who are hungry and homeless arrive at our door, all they own are the clothes they’re wearing. Thanks to donations from friends like you, we’re usually able to meet their physical needs right on the spot. But our shelves aren’t always full, and we are often in need of items in the lists below.
DONATION DROP-OFF LOCATIONS
Donations are accepted at our Kilbourn Ave. entrance (Kilbourn and 19th Street) Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is also a drop-off bin to receive clothing donations located at the True Value Hardware located at 8010 N. 76th Street.
Some items are distributed more quickly than others, depending on supply levels, weather and numbers of guests. As a result, there is a more desperate need of certain items than others. Can you help? Click HERE to view of list of our most urgently needed items.
We serve hundreds of homeless neighbors each night — and, to stay ready for more who might suddenly come through our doors, we always need items like toiletries, clothing, household supplies and food. Click HERE to check out our list of items needed all year round.
Want to make a big impact? Help those in need by making homeless care packages!
While there are hundreds of men, women and children who find shelter and safety at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission every night, there are many who remain on the streets. The good news is that these individuals are not beyond the reach of help! Click HERE to find out how you can partner with us to providing hygiene bags for those in need.
Thank you for any contribution you are able to make!
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept the following items:
- Used toys & stuffed animals
